========================
AdaptPSX
========================

A Precision Simulator 10 utility program providing miscellaneous interfaces to external hardware and functions to customise user experience.

Only possible thanks to the depth of access provided through Hardy's interface to PSX.

Licence:
--------

Free for non-commercial use.

Use at own risk. No liability assumed either actual or implied blah blah blah.

Installation:
-------------

- Extract all files to a folder

Running:
--------

Open AdaptPSX.jar to start using the Program.

Configuration and Paramters:
----------------------------

- For Serial and GPS, set your server and comm port via the 'Configuration, Serial and GPS' Tab

- For printer settings, select the printer via the 'Configuration, Printer' Tab.

- The rest should be self evident

Configuration details are automatically saved to the file Adapt.ini in the same folder as Adapt.jar when you close the program. You can create multiple configuration files and load them when starting the program by including the ini filename as an argument when starting AdaptPSX, e.g.

	AdaptPSX.jar default.ini

Simply copy the existing ini, rename it, and start the program with the filename as an argument. Make changes and close the program - the changes will be saved in your new ini.

Multiple Instances:
-------------------

You can run multiple instances of AdaptPSX either by making a new copy of the entire directory, or by creating copies of the ini files and starting each instance with it's own ini, as above.

Notes:
------

It is the responsiblity of the user to make sure the Serial port selected is the correct one. Incorrect Serial configuration can 'spam' PSX with data causing it to perform poorly or freeze.
